Work on the fourth instalment of The Conjuring is underway, says horror grasp James Wan, who has teased the movie might be the final chapter within the standard movie franchise.

The supernatural horror film sequence may “probably” wrap up with the upcoming sequel to The Conjuring: The Satan Made Me Do It (2021), he hinted.

In an interview with Collider, Wan mentioned the makers need to put their finest foot ahead with the undertaking. “We’re engaged on it proper now. With the ‘Conjuring’ movies, we’re very treasured about (them).

“And so we form of need to simply take our time to ensure we get it proper and to ensure the emotion of the Warren tales that we need to inform, and transferring into, and probably wrapping up, we simply need to guarantee that it is the proper factor, the proper story that we’re telling,” the filmmaker, who serves as government producer on the movie, mentioned.

Requested if the subsequent movie can be the final within the sequence, Wan added: “We by no means know. You by no means know. We’ll see.” David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who wrote the screenplay for the second and third The Conjuring films, will return as the author on the fourth half within the sequence.

Wan together with Peter Safran will return to co-produce the movie. Franchise leads Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga may also reprise their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
